THANK YOU - 2006 - HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

The very continuing existence of this unprecedented, ongoing and statewide showcase series is due to the many musicians, fans and club owners who help perpetuate our presence in Columbus and Ohio at large. A huge, heartfelt "THANK YOU!" goes out to all of you!


Though you may have noticed a decrease in the frequency of events, the MultiFestival Showcase Series keeps traveling the interstates of Ohio. The series plans to pick up the pace of events outside Columbus but will present an overall average of about 2 to 3 events per month. More on that, below (see "Signs Ahead").

• The MultiFestival Showcase Series rolls out M-Featured Artist in '06! The new wrinkle will promote an artist or band as a headliner with supporting artists. Each event will be billed as a "concert" with the event name being the headliner's. The featured artist will get the longest and most prime performance slot. • Myke Rock moves forward with a bass and drum, 2-piece band. In January, 2006, Rock will begin to indoctrinate several drummers to handle the schedule of Columbus, statewide and eventually Midwest dates to come in March and April. Many of Rock's originals (and Beatles and Hendrix songs) will be included in the band's songlist. Rock will continue his solo bass and vocal performances as well as playing with The Decals. • MultiFestival continually needs your help! Musicians who have a gig can turn the venue on to the series. More shared or "split bills" from one fellow series' artist to another and more promo cooperation from artists is desired, too. Please always do your best to help make an event a success. Without that effort, the series will be a memory. And we certainly don't want that.
