The Vague has shown itself to be an accomplished live act. They have performed with a number of national acts including Ace Frehley, Enuff Z' Enuff and Everything. They were invited to play the Columbus Arts Festival as well as the Regional Music Showcase in St. Louis. In the latter they performed an impressive set alongside such bands as Local H, Our Lady Peace and The Sun Sawed in 1/2. In addition, they have played the International Pop Overthrow Festival in Los Angeles, along with such artists as John Faye and The Tories. Not only has The Vague proven itself on the stage, the band's studio works have earned them slots on a number of national and international releases. From their first demo, whose single "Mr. Two Face", was released on the now defunct UMS Records, the band started gaining attention in the power pop community. In 1998, The Vague submitted the single "94" which earned them the distinction as one of the top twelve Musician Magazine's "Best Unsigned Bands of 1998", a contest sponsored by Atlantic Records. They have contributed a song to an upcoming Nick Gilder tribute album on Gremlin Records. They have also recorded the song “ Blockbuster” for a 2002 Bullseye Records release entitled "Are You Ready,Steve?:A Tribute to Sweet".
The band recorded their first full length release,"Divorcing the Shame", with Tom Boyer (Howlin' Maggie, Scrawl, Watershed and The Fabulous Johnson Brothers) in 2002 to much critical praise, both locally and nationally.

Sita Asar
vocals, guitar

Sita has been a genius and a rockstar from day one. At five, she was improvising songs on the swingset before learning her times tables. At 13, she was singing opera, playing piano, and studying atomic orbitals. In high school, her nose was either in her calculus book or hanging over her guitar, and now, she enters the Columbus rock scene with heavy influences in Punk, Rock, and Classical Indian, and a degree in Physics. Check out her super-distorted power chords, melodic microtones, and anti-establishment lyrics!

Adam Story
bass, keyboard, guitar

To say musician Adam Story "enjoys" making music is an understatement. This boy was born with pure Rock and Roll flowing through his veins. He breathes in chords, walks in diatonic, and eats distortion for breakfast. Thanks to a starving artist father and a prog-rock/soul obsessed mother, Adam learned the importance of the creative human spirit and the desire to express through making music. Adam, like the other members of Twiggy and Frollywog, is a self-taught musician (but of course!). Having gone through twenty-odd something bands and currently being a member of the two-man metal machine group Your Vapid Television (YVTV), Adam decided to 'spread his wings' and join Twiggy and Frollywog in the summer of 2003. Impressed with the musicianship and committment of Bill, Jason, and Sita, Adam is convinced that Twiggy and Frollywog has great things in its future!

Jason Corner
drums

Jason is Twiggy and Frollywog's drummer. He can drum practically any style of music that has drums, which greatly accomodates Twiggy's eclectic style. He is currently pursuing a PhD in English, and has made excellent contributions to the band through his own songs as well, but has not yet written his own bio, ironically enough.

Bill Spiropoulos
lead guitar, bass

Bill has been a boy obsessed by music literally as long as he can remember. He grew up in a household saturated with records, absorbing absolutely everything from psychedelic and hard rock to bluegrass to jazz and movie soundtracks from an early age (he remains a vinyl junkie and a connoisseur of old music), and his dad and both brothers had played instruments at one time or another. All the pieces were there in waiting for this impressionable youngster by the time he perceived a physical resemblance between his 5 year old self and the very young Beatles (on the cover of the 1962-1966 double LP), and being told by his grinning brother that they were in fact "kids" when they recorded the early hits contained therein, Bill decided then and there that he was going to be a rock musician too. Although he didn't meet his self-imposed deadline of 17 years of age to become a star, his obsession with music and records pushed him all the way through the next twenty-odd years, during which he taught himself guitar and keyboards, experimented incessantly with tape recorders and microphones, and through his love of album cover art and graphics in general, turned on to a career in graphic design by which he makes his "real" living these days. Bill didn't join his first band until 2001, playing bass for a year and a half with local jam band Brokedown Sound (which evolved into current scenesters Sens). In between that adventure and his fateful lunchtime meeting with Jodi at a downtoiwn restaurant in October 2003, he'd also joined up with the neo-psychedelic combo Floorian where he plays keyboards and guitar in a competely different context. The boy's finally doing what he's always wanted to, and doing it a lot. His house, as a result, is a mess.
